TH 136?

Is there any reason TH 136 isn't listed? There's no indication why, and it's the only one in sequence that's unlisted (and right in the middle of the piano pieces).

Joshua Kaufman

TH 136 was originally believed to be an early version of the Valse in F minor, which appears as No. 9 of the Twelve Pieces (Op. 40) (TH 138). However, recent research has reinterpreted Tchaikovsky's autograph date as '1878' rather than '1876', meaning that this was a later variant of the piece used in Op. 40, and not an earlier independent work. The designation TH 136 has therefore been withdrawn!
