La Valse Lente

In ballet "Swan Lake", Pyotr Ilyich composed several Valses. However No.5 "Pas de deux-I" is an unusual one. It is slower than other Waltzs. "Tempo di Valse ma non trppo vivo, quasi Moderato" like as Moderato-valse of "Amid the Din of the Ball"(1878). On the other hand, "Pas de deux-III", No.2, No.13-I, -III, -VI, No.17 are usual "Tempo di Valse". What did Pyotr Ilyich design Slow Waltz at No.5 "Pas de deux-I". Could anyboby give some suggestions for me?

Best regards,

Kamomeno Iwao
