It might be a little late to take in all the performances but its not too late to catch the preferred Nutcracker on Christmas Eve and five different Nutcrackers on Christmas day....for the past two weeks Ovation TV for those of you in the states and on cable...(mine has it on channel 83)...has been showing a different nutcracker for each week day....the favored by the viewers will be played on Christmas Eve...all of the five will be shown Christmas day.....some classics like the Bolshoi, others more novel and humorous like "The Hard Nut"....here is a good chance to get your yearly dose of this scintillating work...this is becoming a yearly event on ovation, one of the few tv channels to focus on the arts....have a happy holidays everyone....
