Dear Tchaikovsky Forum,
Currently, I am researching the Bolshoi Ballet's 1959 American premiere
and one of the performances included a version of Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake.
I understand that there is an American video tape of the Bolshoi's Los
Angeles performance in the spring of 1959. The information I have about
this performance is it is titled Best of the Bolshoi and is divided into
Parts 1 and 2.
I was wondering if anyone had any information about how to buy a copy.
I know that the New York Public Library owns a copy, but I am unable to
make a trip to New York City at this time.
Any help would be appreciated greatly.
Best regards,
