About that horn theme from the 4th Symphony

I know it was the theme of a radio or TV program in the 50’s or 60’s. Does anyone remember what program on what station? It’s haunting me.

Do you mean the 4th Symphony or the 5th Symphony?

I'm not sure if this is the one you're talking about, but the music from the horn solo from the fifth symphony was used quite a bit in a movie from 1947 or so named "That Midnight Kiss" starring Mario Lanza, Kathryn Grayson and Jose Iturbi, a wonderful movie with a lot of beautiful music. Hope this helps a little. Also someone really needs to commended on taking care of a really great site for Tchaikovski. This has so much Information on it, nothing nicer then to listen to a Tchaikovsky Symphony and look at this site.
