Andersen - Iolanta

The drama by Henrik Hertz from which it was drawn Tchaikovsky's opera "Iolanta" is inspired by a story by Hans Christian Andersen?

There are other compositions of the musician inspired by the Danish writer?

"Iolanta" is actually based on the story König Renes Tochter (1846) by another Danish writer, Henrik Hertz (1798–1870).

Tchaikovsky didn't write anything inspired by Hans Christian Andersen, although it would have been interesting to see what he could have come up with.
