Alma AronsonAlma Aronson was an American soprano who performed as Alma Almira Delma, although she appears to have been born in New York in 1866 as Almira Chandler. She married twice, first to Camilo de Valencie in 1883, and then in 1889 to musical director Rudolph Aronson; both marriages were dissolved. During the 1890s she toured in Europe, and corresponded briefly with Tchaikovsky in 1893. Nothing is known of her later years. |
