Hugo BockGerman music publisher (b. 25 July 1848 in Berlin; d. 12 March 1932 in Berlin). In 1871 Bock inherited the Berlin music publishing firm founded by his father Gustav Bock (1813–1863) and Eduard Bote. The firm of Bote & Bock published the score of Tchaikovsky's overture-fantasia Romeo and Juliet in 1871, at the instigation of Nikolay Rubinstein. Tchaikovsky was acquainted with Hugo Bock, and some correspondence between the two men has survived. Tchaikovsky's correspondence with Hugo Bock:
