Léonce DétroyatPierre Léonce Détroyat was a French journalist and librettist, born in Bayonne in 1829. In 1888 he sent Tchaikovsky a scenario for an opera called The Courtesan (or Sadia), although eventually nothing came of this project. Léonce Détroyat died in Paris in January 1898. |
