Dmitrii Rykovskii

Great-great grandfather of the composer (b. 1721; d. March 1757 in Saint Petersburg), born Dmitrii Iakovlevich Rykovskii (Дмитрий Яковлевич Рыковский, Dmitrij Jakovlevič Rykovskij, Dmitry Yakovlevich Rikovsky).

Dmitrii was the son of the priest Iakov Danilovich Rykovskii. In 1744 he graduated from the Aleksandr Nevskii Seminary in Saint Petersburg, where he then served as Deacon, then Priest (from 1747) and later Steward of Petropavlovsk Cathedral.

He married Evfimiia Kirkovna Iosifovich (b. 1727), and they had at least two children: Iakov (b. circa 1747); Anna (b. circa 1752), great-grandmother of the composer.
