Aleksandr Zhedrinskii

Russian lawyer and senator (b. 1859; d. 1919?), born Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Zhedrinskii (Александр Александрович Жедринский, Aleksandr Aleksandrovič Žedrinskij, Alexander Alexandrovich Zhedrinsky).

A graduate of the Aleksandrovskii law school in Saint Petersburg, Zhedrinskii subsequently became the manager of the Senate printing house, a consultant to the Ministry of Justice, and a state senator. Tchaikovsky and his brother Anatolii were friends with Aleksandr Zhedrinskii and his brother Vladimir (1851–1892) during the time that they lived in Saint Petersburg.
